David Tuccaro will be inducted into the 2012 Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame

December 2, 2011 – David Tuccaro, National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation Board Chair will be inducted into the 2012 Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame.
From Mikisew Cree First Nation in Fort Chipewyan, the influential business entrepreneur is President and CEO of five successful companies. He has created opportunities for other entrepreneurs to make their mark throughout Alberta and Canada.
“David’s contributions to economic development within Indigenous communities have made such a positive impact. He is not only a business leader, but also an inspiration and role model to all Indigenous youth,” said Roberta Jamieson, President and CEO of the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation.
The Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame, which is celebrating its eighth year, recognizes Aboriginal leaders who have made significant contributions to Aboriginal people and communities in Canada.
Mr. Tuccaro is also a laureate of the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, the highest honour in Canada that recognizes the accomplishments of Aboriginal Canadians. Mr. Tuccaro received the Business and Commerce award in 1999.
